Hope so, also lot's of indicators etc showing a big pump around 15th, 16th, 17th of this month.
I know I've said it before but it may be that XRP is leaving price points behind which it'll never visit again.

That would be nice ed, a lot of the "experts" are suggesting the $7 you mention in the 1st quarter of 2024. British Bank iso implementation spring 2024 (although could be pushed back to the summer 2024) according to their roadmap. (I presume April 1st for the start of financial year) . All the indicators suggest a surge upwards from now into next year, especially 1st quarter of 2024. Not a lot happens over the xmas period.

I'd take last quarter ed anyway :) what we don't see or can't project is what's potentially going on, which isn't necessarily anywhere in the historical charts.
ISDA membership ($1.2 Quadrillion? market), BRICS, ISO/Swift etc, XRP price needs to be a lot higher to help facilitate the transactions value wise.
Only a couple of weeks ago, China did I think their 1st transaction buying 1 million barrels of oil using crypto/cbdc. Bought from the UAE via a Singaporian network (Ripple not long agreed Singaporian membership (SGX? ) with the biggest bank in Singapore. Ripple has partnerships with all the biggest banks in Asia, Europe, South America, Australia, Europe, America, Russia.
Maybe the start of bypassing the US Dollar which is what BRICS is about.

I recently used Coinbase as I haven't tried anything else for a while and it worked fine for me.
First if you need to convert to XRP or XLM as it's cheap to send and send to Coinbase if you've nothing in your Coinbase account.
Convert to Cash GBP in Coinbase.
Send straight to your bank account depending on who you bank with.
If your bank (like many) have temporarily blocked crypto exchange payments then set up a Revolut account.
The process of sending from Coinbase to Revolut to your bank account once set up can take like a minute or so to do and appear in your bank account almost instantly.
You may need to send like £5/£10 from your bank account to Revolut to use the quick setup function which worked well for me.

I'm guessing you can send crypto straight to Revolut and convert but I've not tried it yet. I just do it as I explained as it works for me in a hurry.

So hinman document release didn't quite get the impact expected but most reports predicting an imminent decision still.
See a few whales have moved some significant quantities of XRP around as well which is interesting.
I see price prediction ranges of 4-27 dollars being banded around after case closes though 27 dollars seems unrealistic to me.
Thoughts?

So with this page quiet . What do people think will happen this year. and what do people hope will happen?
Are we waiting for the long drawn out conclusion of the SEC case to kick start some market changes?
{Ed033's Note - To speculate, the Crypto market may pull back a bit into Feb 2023 and then move back up higher in March 2023 until Summer 2023, then have a large pull back to the end of the year 2023. Then 2024 is the big move up for the whole of 2024 and the first few months of 2025.

The SEC case will affect most. Even though it's the US market which is circa 5% of crypto, the US apparently affects around 25% of the crypto market.
I think by the 21st Jan (end of this week) we (may) find out if the Hinman documents will be made public.
If they are then there will probably be settlement behind closed doors in Ripples favour. If not then we continue to judgement by end of March 2023.
It all ties in well with the implementation of ISO20022 March 2023 this year after being pushed back from NOV 2022.
XRP and Stellar are on the board of ISO20022 with other approvals being IOTA, XDC, QUANT, ALGO, HBAR and 1 or 2 others.
Many partnerships have been announced even in this last week, XRP and SOL for instance on being "greener" together.
Quant and LCX exchange have some sort of partnership (big deal). AVAX have teamed up with Amazon and already have Alibaba (another big deal).
Lot's of interesting stuff for potential buys in all of those mentioned. Quant could be one to take the mantle from BTC in the future looking at it's future use, but just my opinion.
Brad Garlinghouse ceo of Ripple/XRP is speaking at the Davos World Economic forum in the next few weeks. 1 of only 2 crypto speakers with the majority of the worlds banks.
Going forward I hope the truth about FTX (possible attack on Terra) and it's links to everything comes out but I doubt it.
The next big bullrun (3rd) will be the biggest but will have the biggest drop the other side.
When, I'm not sure but I expect quite a few coins will hopefully decouple from Bitcoin such as the ones mentioned in this post. Along the way over the next few years I think we will see 80%-90% of the 20 odd thousand different coins just disappear leaving the real use case cryptos.

Interesting moment in the market, a lot of people seem split on whether we are coiling up for a run or in a bear market.

Bitcoin has held support and not lost the lows at around the $31k of June 2021. Therefore no structure has been broken, only when structure is broken and that major level of support is lost creating lower highs and lower lows can we say we’re rolling into the bear. So as of now, it’s just a deep correction in an uptrend. Still have technical targets to the upside as long as that level of support holds. The coming days and weeks will tell us all. Just my opinion of course

Who’s the YouTube rout out of interest?
I assume there is a lot of people out there that have hodl XRP, particularly with the low price, head in sand and wait stuff. I expect a surge of some sort when the SEC case finally comes to an end, what that is as ED says is anyone’s guess.
After which your average casual crypto dabbler will probably cash in and leave but for me that’s the point I’m interested in as I have a theory that post case spike and then dip is when a lot of whales/banks could buy in …. but who really knows

Morning ED, I have a decent holding in XRP so have moved to Binance, thanks for the tip.
But my question is what is the main driver for this kind of airdrop? Obviously we are now seeing a XRP price increase
