Here is what the judge said on the case
“I find that the documents did not have the predominant purpose of soliciting or providing legal advice”, Judge Sarah Netburn stated. “Indeed, later at oral argument, SEC counsel suggested that the legal advice was to “educate” Hinman on the legal standards. If the predominant purpose of the agency lawyers’ comments was to inform Hinman about the law but not to advise the agency in its decision-making, it is not protected communication.”
“The law is settled that policy advice—like whether it is a good idea or a bad idea to make a particular public statement as a public figure—or communication advice—like whether a statement is on-message with the agency’s position—is not protected legal advice, even when it is offered by lawyers. Accordingly, the predominant purpose of the communications was not to provide legal advice to aid the SEC in conducting the public’s business. The documents must be produced.”

After what the judge said earlier about the docs there is no way ripple can lose this case now, imo.

Good choice imo. If the Hinman documents don't see the light of day (which I don't think they will) meaning SEC will have to settle in Ripples favour then it'll pretty much mean that BTC, ETH and XRP are in the clear.
I noticed SOL have had a case brought against them, I think there will be many more.
After the debacle I've had with XRP I will be steering clear of anything else that has a case brought against them unless your prepared for a 2 year lull or more and maybe a negative outcome. There maybe some exchanges that get attacked but generally I think some like binance have a lot more clout and are mostly based in places like the Caymans/tax free havens.
I think FTX will be favoured as they've got some serious backers including a big connection to Blackrock.
Lastly I think an ex Ripple exec/advisor Michael Barr has just been appointed to the federal reserve only yesterday? I know the timing is ironic isn't it?
Should be a positive moving forward.
Just now need to accumulate enough to get my secluded island/farm and become self sufficient somewhere nice :)

In all honesty I've been on this site since the beginning, (football rumours page that is, early 2000), I was thinking the other day that it's about time I gave back for it's use and wondered if you took or could look into taking crypto donations towards the site.

Supasub. You are a remarkable soul of which I am glad to virtually know. I can not speak from a point of view of these sites I am gratefully to be apart of but personally speaking I am not a soul of physical wealth, and will never be. You keep all you have earnt to share amongst you and yours, the thought of that makes me happy.
