Long time reader and now first time poster!

Ed and Supasub, both of you seem well informed in the Crypto arena. I am just getting started and was wondering if you could point me in the right direction on which Cryptos a first time investor should explore? I know Supasub likes XRP, and todays price is 0.31 cents, is that a good price to buy at? Also another one is KLV, that both of you seem encouraged about. Just trying to make a future for my kids and dis not get much financial literacy thru my education.

Any guidance is appreciated.

{Ed033's Note - It would be good to get any crypto you think may make it into the future, like getting into Microsoft or Apple at a low price. Unfortunately we all can only guess. You also have to realise that like any Financial Market, it's a gamble.

0.31 is good, but I think 0.25 or below for XRP would be a very good price to start entering. You don't have to buy all in one go.

Supasub has recently posted what he would purchase when the prices go a bit lower.

I'm also new to crypto but I know the prices are currently low, do you reckon the likes of BTC and ETH get back to their heights? Or is it something to worry about?

I've followed this site a little and know xrp is one to watch out for. I've also read avax may be good to get into.

For a beginner which apps are best?

{Ed033's Note - Trust wallet, Metamask

If ETH goes under 500, that would be a good buy, i thnk. you'd expect both ETH and BTC to get back to All Time Highs at some point in the future.

I am guilty of probably influencing Ed on KLV because its one I believe in and I was only lead to it by a friend who introduced me to crypto. Do a little research on anything your interested in.

Now is a good time to get a bit of KLV imo as it will be multifunctional going forward with lots of stuff going on and in the next few years.
Before you buy any XRP I would look at the XRP news once a day at least. Lookout for the judges decision on the SEC handing over the "Hinman" speech documents which should be within the next week or 2.
SEC forced to hand over documents, Buy XRP. Likewise not compelled to hand over then I would wait.

AVAX is like ETH. Really like AVAX and being that it's probably the quickest and most technologically advanced crypto coin at the moment would suggest it'll be around for years to come and grow in value. Given time/ a few years I expect it to reach at least quarter/half of whatever ETH's value is at the time.

Polkadot is prepared for more Web3 whatever that will look like. I like LCX too which I've been recommended. Buy on coinbase currently. It is a token of a European exchange in I think Luxembourg? EU approved. Currently young and about 6cents each. If you look at other main exchange tokens they are generally several $ upwards from Huobi, pancakeswap, Sushi to Kucoin, FTT/FTX, BNB. I'm ignoring CRO as that's in the billions supply but LCX is in the millions.

Some people buy set regular amounts. This would help if the price is volatile. Your buying more if it goes up and your also cutting your 1st buy in price if the price drops. This is what is meant if you see anybody DCA (dollar cost averaging). Buying say once a day/week or month with a set amount to start with.
Stick with anything that's been around for a while and that is already developed/developing.

I would not buy any meme coins/animal tokens or new buy now before launch or just launched tokens. Most to nearly all of then imo are rug pulls sometimes fast sometimes slow.
I am not some sort of software or blockchain expert. I've just learnt quite a lot from other people and from researching.

It is here to stay and good use crypto/blockchain will be here for a long time and will grow. Certainly when we go cashless which will be sooner than you think.
I think of crypto as I would buying a house. Houses go up and down with the market but they always go up. History tells us that. Look to zoom out on crypto like buying a house. You'll suddenly realise after 2,3,4 years how well you've done.

There have only been 3 ways to legally make money individually since the start of the 20th century, they are Property, business and stocks/shares. Cryptocurrency and its technology is now the 4th.
If you have anything your not sure of or need help then just ask. At the end of the day I want to make as much as I can and provide generational wealth to my children and have a solid exit/liquidation strategy in the coming years.

Oh and Ed particularly likes Theta. A great token that is very undervalued at the moment imo.

{Ed033's Note - Thanks Supasub.

Also in answer to your question Yred, BTC and ETH will come back and higher. As quickly as it comes down, it can go up. We could see ATH this year maybe October/Nov times. Definately by the summer next year imo.

{Ed033's Note - lets hope so - by the summer next year
